Smarty Pants - Meet The Staff

SMARTY PANTS DAY CARE TEAM

All staff at Smarty Pants have been chosen for their qualifications, experience, enthusiasum and the way in which they care for the children.

All staff that have direct contact with Children at Smarty Pants have undergone the following: -

Police and criminal record check
Doctors report and health check
Social services check
References
Interview
Full induction training programme
Basic/full first aid training

Staff are regularly monitored through our appraisal system, ensuring that our high standards are maintained at all times.

All staff are encouraged and supported to continue to update their skills
with further training towards childcare and education.

	Debbie Day Care Manager Debbie is the "head honcho" at Smarty Pants, and has been working with children for over 12 years. Debbie is qualified to NVQ levels 2 & 3. in childcare and early education and is currently attending Chicester university completing a degree in childcare and early education and hopefully continuing to succeed in qualifying for teacher status. Debbie also fulfils the role of SENCO (Special Educational Needs Officer) within the group.
	Laura Deputy Manager Laura has 7 years experience in childcare, and is qualified NVQ levels 2 & 3 childcare and early education. Laura is also Smarty Pants Child Protection Officer.
	Emma Day Care Supervisor Emma has worked for Smarty Pants for over 5 years, and is qualified to NVQ levels 2 & 3 childcare and early education. Emma is also health and safety officer.
	Maggie Little Smartys Child Practitioner Maggie is working towards her NVQ level 2 qualification.
	Louise Little Smartys Part-time Child Practitioner Louise is working towards her NVQ level 2 qualification.
